Greetings!
WE HAVE HUGE NEWS! For over twenty years RADICAL EDGE has helped you gear up for your adventures, but in 2013 we are taking things a step further with RAD-VENTURES!
This June, we will start taking people out on guided multi-day hiking trips, starting in our back yard at Fundy National Park!
We will be holding a Radical Edge Adventure Symposium at our Queen St. Store WEDNESDAY APRIL 24th, with details on this and many other Rad-Ventures, wine and cheese, amazing deals on select Icebreaker and footwear, give-aways, plus information on exciting opportunities around the province and Globe.

RAD-ADVENTURES!
We are very excited to announce the beginning of Rad-Ventures. Rad-Ventures will be an adventure outfitter dedicated to creating memorable outdoor experiences for everybody, from the well versed camper to the newly minted hiker.
Our first excursion into this world will be a guided hike from end to end of the Fundy foot path, taking in one of the last remaining undeveloped coastal wilderness between Florida and Labrador. This is a four day backpacking camping experience, with spectacular views in a region of extraordinary beauty.
Why choose Rad-Ventures to take you out for some fun? We provide all of the camping gear (with brand new state-of-the-art equipment), transportation, food and experienced guides required for the entire trip!
We will soon have a website created, specifically designed to answer any questions you may have about Rad-Ventures and our trips, until then please direct all of your inquires to info@rad-ventures.ca.
Here are a few details about our inaugural trip to Fundy:
WHEN: Thursday June 6th through Sunday June 9th.
WHERE: Big Salmon River to Point Wolfe, with the group meeting at Big Salmon River Interpretive Centre
COST: ONLY $499! This includes all of your camping gear, camping fees and meals, and hiking guides! We also have transportation to the park available.

Radical Edge Adventure Symposium
Do you like sleeping in a tent? Riding your bike? Wearing wool? Reaching the peak? How about wine, cheese, growlers, food and good people? Then you will love our upcoming Adventure Symposium!
On Wednesday, April 24th 6:30pm we invite you all to come out to a free night of like minded individuals discussing adventure and travel opportunities.
We will have several presenters, each with their own niche or expertise to share and show you how to become involved in their particular passion.
Focuses on: Back packing, cycle touring, rock climbing, adventure racing and hiking the El-Camino

We will also be offering free wine and cheese, Picaroons and other refreshments.

RAD-TALKS: RIDE FOR HOPE - Cycling from Canada to Argentina
Each month The Radical Edge is going to invite you over for an evening of outdoor education / entertainment.
Our second Rad-talk is going to be presented by Keenan Cook, who besides working at our Queen Street shop, spent 2008-2009 riding his bicycle from Canada to Argentina. Keenan and his brother cycled from Alberta to Buenos Aires, raising over $50,000 for HOPE!
ON WEDNESDAY April 10th at 6:30pm - Come by the Radical Edge Westmorland to watch a great video that Keenan and his brother made along the way, and get your own chance to experience Canada to Argentina from the seat of a bicycle. Without a single saddle sore.
Since returning to Canada, Keenan has started his own cycle touring company, taking folks just like you out on guided, supported bicycle tours of the Maritimes - you'll get a chance to find out more about Maritime Cycle Tours, and automatically receive $50 off any tour they offer, just by showing up, as well as find out more about cycle touring in general.
