President's Message - Sue Davis
| |
Hello RWOP Members!
I don’t know about you, but Team Trump is really shaping up nicely.
JD Vance - what a solid, innovative and bold choice for a running mate! AND, having the endorsement of one of the most intelligent men in our generation, a recovering democrat, Elon Musk….WOW! And now, another iconic legacy democrat, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and former democrat congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard have stepped up to endorse our next President, Donald J. Trump! Is this a dream come true or what?!

Look, I know you’re getting blasted by media hyperbole 24/7, but if we’re going to paint our county and state red, we need to focus on elections and issues in our own hometown. School board, city and state ballot issues. Trust me, your engagement is important, and your voice matters.
RWOP is an activist organization, and it starts with you becoming an expert. When you make a phone call, canvass neighborhoods, speak with strangers and acquaintances, you are making a direct impact. I expect that from you, and I know you will not disappoint.
You ask how else can you help?
Save the date, September 17th, and get your tickets at YCPAC.COM to RWOP’s Main Event featuring NCAA Swimmer Riley Gaines and Babylon Bee Editor Kyle Mann.
Please join Sanford Cohen on KQNA’s Talk of the Town on September 5th at 4:00 pm when he interviews Riley Gaines and Kyle Mann LIVE. KQNA’s Talk of the Town can be heard on 1130 AM, 95.9 and 99.9 FM.
Bring your bestie and be prepared to laugh until you cry and cry until you laugh. Your attendance supports RWOP’s Scholarship Fund, Veteran’s Programs, and local youth mentoring.
Riley Gaines is the Rosa Parks of our generation - refusing to stay silent in the face of overwhelming pressure after Lea Thomas became the first transgender athlete to win a national title in NCAA women’s swimming.
.
Kyle will deliver an insider’s perspective of Christian-based, satirical humor and censorship by our federal government. The Dems and Feds hate this guy…making fun of the hypocrisy was never so dangerous! Shhhh…Did you know that Kyle (in disguise) was just expelled from the DNC? So much for tolerance & inclusion, right?
Come prepared for an evening of scandal, debauchery, and truth so hard it hurts! Laugh at the absurdity of utopian wokeness surrounded by us old-fashioned, reality-based, deplorable.
Share an evening with brave, outspoken conservatives surrounded by friends.
Don’t regret waiting to the last minute and missing out of an evening that will be the talk of the town!

Here are a few more “to do’s” to put on your list…
Guess what happens in 38 days? Yep - that’s when early voting for the general election begins. Please be sure to turn in your ballots early, in person or at the ballot boxes!
Kamala and Walz: More DEI? Abortion “rights”? Energy dependence on windmills? Endless wars? A packed Supreme Court? Open borders? Unrealized gains tax? Electric car mandates? Fifteen-minute cities? Censorship of conservative voices? Cashless bail? California style justice reform? ACK!!! Sound the alarms!
I close with this. You, me, they, we – ALL must to do our part. Do not be the weak link in the chain. Lose a family member or friend to politics? Yep, I have…and it hurts. But this leaves the responsibility to each of us to save our county, state and country from the democrat “values” above. Preceding generations gave their lives, families and fortunes to make this dream we call America a reality.
Please pray for each other, and our future leadership, for wisdom, health, courage, and perseverance.
See you at Yavapai College Jim and Linda Lee Performing Arts Center on Tuesday evening, September 17th! Support our Scholarship and Veterans Programs!

Caring for America - Nancy Grigas
The Hungry kids Project in Chino Valley is our September Charity of the Month.
Homelessness and hunger have grown in Arizona and Chino Valley has been no exception. Over the past 5 years the number of homeless children being served by Hungry Kids has grown from an average of 260 to 404. Early applications indicate this number will increase again this year.
Homelessness is defined by the Federal Government as “lacking a fixed, regular and adequate nighttime residence”. Families have to apply and are verified for the Hungry Kids program.
Chino Valley students have a 4-day school week, so the bags the volunteers pack each Thursday contain 9 meals. Last year nearly 131,000 meals were prepared. This is financially unsustainable. Although Hungry Kids Project works with some of our local food banks, it is still not enough.
They need donations from people like you. $400 feeds 1 child for the entire school year and $40 feeds 1 child for 1 month. Please help with whatever you can.

Arizona Federation of Republican Women (AzFRW) is 100 years old and to celebrate they have announced the Fall Board of Directors Meeting and Statewide Membership Conference. The dates are October 17 – 19, 2024 at Casino Del Sol in Tucson, AZ.
There are many speakers lined up and more being confirmed as the planning continues to move forward, and there are always great vendors to shop for Republican related merchandise.
A special highlight of this meeting will be the 100th Anniversary Dinner on Friday night, October 18th. It is a Masquerade Ball with 1920’s attire suggested but not required. This is a night you won’t want to miss! Come to the conference and celebrate 100 years of Republican Women in Arizona. Any questions you may contact me directly at 949-293-8149.

Attendance at the Summer AzFRW State Meeting
I had the opportunity to attend the June 13-15, 2024th AzFRW Summer State Meeting held at the Wild Horse Pass Resort & Casino in Chandler, AZ. It was great fun to travel from Prescott to Chandler with some fun ladies.
Some of the conference standouts for me were, Lois Fruhwirth’s Friday, June 14th session “Women Supporting Women” and Saturday’s Legislative Committee Meeting.
Hope you all can plan to attend the Fall AzFRW meeting scheduled for October 17-19, 2024, at the Casino Del Sol in Tucson, AZ.

Americanism - Susan Cohen
For those of you who may have missed it, Kerry Kennedy, sister of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and her siblings, posted the letter (below) on X.com showing their disappointment of their brother’s support for Donald Trump’s run for the presidency. (A similar situation occurred with the siblings of our former Arizona Congressman Paul Gosar when they made a 2018 campaign ad bashing their brother and supporting the Democrat candidate. See the video of Gosar’s story here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfFzIufVZek
There is no tolerance on the left when one disagrees with them. Actually, intolerance is a trait of Marxist thought. Many families across our great nation have had to put up with this and its premise is designed to cause great divides among families. This lack of civil discourse is an integral part of liberal/Marxist thought and is the problem, not the solution, to bringing unity to our great nation.
| |
In response, Tammy Bruce, a conservative political commentator on Fox News, wrote the following open letter on X.com to Kerry Kennedy on losing her way. Bruce’s letter, we hope, will bring an understanding of what true American values to the lost members of the Kennedy clan are.
Remember this stark difference on what it means to be an American: Joe Biden stepped down from the 2024 presidential race for his party; Robert Kennedy, Jr. stepped down from the 2024 presidential race for his country.
