PCEF has committed $250,000 to Classroom Grants for the 2024/25 school year! Grant funding is made possible thanks to the collective commitment of our local community. YOU make a significant impact in support our your child and every child in our district.

You don't have to race to be a part of Running with Ed. Your donation to a friend, teacher, or team who is participating in Running with Ed not only supports classroom innovation, but it is an investment in Park City's best asset – its students!

No donation amount is too small. Every RWE participant has their own unique link to share to friends and family in an effort to fundraise for their team...so if you know a friend participating, reach out to them for their unique link to donate.

Teachers participate in Running with Ed for free and approximately 200 have already registered...so you can help them by donating to their individual page at RunningwithEd.com (i.e. scroll down and search by teacher's name in the "fundraiser" search window to donate).

Participants are eligible to win great prizes when you donate to their fundraiser, and more unique donations gives them more chances to win.

🍎 Park City Educators are Excellent❗️

Every year, educators in each school determine Park City Education Foundation’s Excellent Educators, funded by the Louis and Doilney Families.

“It’s voted on by teachers, staff and admin from each school, and they select who best exemplifies an excellent educator,” Jennifer Billow, PCEF's Vice President of Advancement. “Any full-time position can be nominated.”

Teachers are celebrated as the "best of the best" in front of their peers and students in a special ceremony at each school.

🙌 PCHS Seniors Voted Science Teacher

Ed Mulick "Most Influential Educator" 💯

The Sarah & Stephen Doilney Award is voted on by the Senior Class at Park City High School to honor the most influential educator of their school career. This year, Ed Mulick won the coveted award, and is a historic five-time recipient! Mulick began at teaching 34 years ago after receiving his teaching certificate and Master's degree in 1990, and has taught at PCHS his entire career.

Recognizing the support of the Park City community, Mulick remarked, “We live in a community that supports education, and not only financially,” he said. “Awards like this help keep a little wind in our sails.”

Park City continues to attract and retain top-tier educators thanks to a community that makes public education a top priority, and gives generously. Fundraising initiatives like Running with Ed, where all proceeds are reinvested directly into our classrooms, enables teachers to pursue innovative approaches and that inspire students, and provides the necessary support for educators to excel in their roles. It's a win, win, for Park City educators and students when you donate to Running with Ed.

🎒 U of U Out-of-School Time Survey❓

The University of Utah: Utah Education Policy Center is interested in hearing from both families with and without children currently participating in After School programs. The survey is available in both English and Spanish.

Afterschool is one of PCEF's 8 Signature Initiatives, and the Park City Afterschool program is considered a model throughout Utah.
