RVCC Honor Society Receives Awards

RVCC’s chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society has received several awards at conventions held this spring.

Summer Classes

Registration is now open for RVCC’s summer classes, with sessions beginning May 20, June 10, and July 8. Summer is a great opportunity for college students to earn extra credits and save money and for high school juniors and seniors to jumpstart their college education.

Nota Bene Awards Celebrate Students

RVCC recognized the creativity, talent, ingenuity, and academic excellence of its students at the annual Note Bene awards ceremony.

Information Sessions

Attend an RVCC Information Session. Learn about the College’s admissions process and tour the campus. Upcoming events focus on the Honors College and the Beauty and Automotive Technology programs. Also scheduled are a Family session and a special program called “I’ve Applied, What’s Next.”

Career Opportunities in Aseptic Processing, Biomanufacturing

RVCC recently hosted its first “Biotechnology Panel Discussion,” offering local educators the opportunity to learn about career opportunities and the increased demand for employees in the fields of aseptic processing and biomanufacturing.

Sapling Grown from Tree in Anne Frank’s Diary

RVCC is one of six new recipients of saplings grown from the horse chestnut tree that towered behind Anne Frank’s Secret Annex in Amsterdam.

Grant for Concert Series

Dr. Anna Keiserman, Assistant Professor of Music, has received a New Jersey State Council on the Arts Local Arts Program Grant from the Somerset County Cultural & Heritage Commission for the MOZAIKA concert series. Concert ticket sales benefit the Applied Music Fund, which helps pay for musical instruments and scholarships for RVCC music students.

Planetarium

The RVCC Planetarium has a great variety of offerings in May, including a Pink Floyd laser concert, a special meditation program, and a star show focusing on what other types of life may exist in the universe.
