2015 Legislative Update

Attend the Membership Business Meeting on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Association for an update on the 2015 Legislative Session and how it will impact your business. Rocky Finseth and Jenny Reese of Carrara Nevada will present information on the 2015 Legislative Session. Topics include taxes,  license renewal changes, construction defects changes, independent contractors status, property taxes and lending in Nevada, legislation on squatters and eminent domain. Traci Davis, Interim Superintendent of Washoe County School District, will also be here to provide an update. Networking begins at 8:00 a.m. and the meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. Click here for more information.

Shred-it will be at the Association on June 9, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to help you with the spring cleaning of your office and file cabinets. As a member benefit you are invited to take advantage of free document shredding!

 

YPN Announces "A Night On the Lake"

Let your agents know that this new course provides lending tips and tools for real estate agents. The course will be held on Tuesday, June 17th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Association. Topics include how interest rates work, the current lending environment, loan types that are available and DPA's in our area. This course provides 3 hours of general CE credit.
