Senate's Passage of Tax Reform Legislation
|
- The National Association of Manufacturers released a statement on December 2, from NAM President and CEO Jay Timmons on Saturday on the Senate's passage of tax reform legislation. Timmons said about the bill, "History has been made again, and our nation is now on the verge of seeing the biggest, boldest tax reform in more than three decades."

Cybersecurity Deadline Looms for DoD Manufacturers
|
- Cybersecurity guidelines required by the Department if Defense (DoD) are likely to have an enormous impact on hundreds of Massachusetts approved manufacturers who may have received DoD contracts in 2016
- By December 31, 2017, all DoD contractors (including small businesses) must meet minimum cybersecurity requirements or risk losing DoD business
