Don’t let anybody tell you anything different.” Michael Nelson, from RHD’s Creating Increased Connections (CIC), delivered these inspiring words while accepting the Legacy Award during the Philadelphia Professional Development Awards Ceremony on December 15.

Check out this amazing video from the artists at RHD’s Imagine That! in Kansas City, MO. Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor join forces to defeat some dastardly foes. This video script was written by Imagine That! artist Debbie F., who also stars as Wonder Woman. Imagine That! participants round out the rest of the cast and contributed music, illustrations, and more. Also, keep an eye out for some Olympic torches from RHD’s Values Day!

Everyone deserves a place to call home, and RHD is committed to ending homelessness. From shelters and safe havens, to supported independent living and nationally renowned case management services, RHD supports people of all abilities as they pursue their dreams of permanent shelter. As part of our impact campaign, we will “knock out homelessness” by hosting a virtual sleep out. We’ll be announcing the date for the 2023 Virtual Sleep Out soon, but we can’t do this work alone. We need your support so individuals and families can obtain financial stability, access to healthcare, and basic needs to support their long-term success.
