On December 18, 2022, John Nicely, program director of RHD Residential Service Systems (RSS) and 40-year RHD veteran, passed away in his home in Haverford, PA. During John’s long, distinguished career at RHD, he served as a vital team member and leader who embodied RHD’s mission and values, carrying them through in all aspects of his life.

“Anime!” Fine Line Studios artist Elizabeth Mayuku has no problem naming her biggest influence. From Dragonball Z to Fullmetal Alchemist to Attack on Titan to Pokemon and Digimon – Elizabeth, or Lizzie, draws on her passion for Japanese animation to create incredibly detailed, imaginative pieces of art.

After two years of serving the community in a temporary space, RHD’s Family Practice & Counseling Network (FPCN) is excited to return home to their Southwest Philadelphia community with the reopening of their Health Annex Clinic!

The Health Annex joined the FQHC network in 2003 after initially being a part of the University of Pennsylvania Hospital’s practice. The Health Annex provides a wide range of services to patients, including Primary Care and integrated Behavioral Health, Outpatient Behavioral Health, Dental Care, Social Work, Outreach & Enrollment, Diabetes and Nutrition education and support, Mind/Body practices, prenatal care, specialized services, physical therapy, on-site pharmacy, transportation assistance and a fitness room.
