Learn More About the

Educational Improvement Tax Credit

For almost a decade, RHD has been a recipient of the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program, also known as EITC. This program allows tax credits for eligible businesses contributing to a Scholarship Organization, an Educational Improvement Organization, and/or a Pre-Kindergarten Scholarship Organization. Since 2015, RHD has been awarded over $370,000 in EITC funds for one of our programs, Stepping Stones. Stepping Stones is a long-term partial hospital program serving children ages 6 to 11 from the Philadelphia area. This program provides specialized education services as well as individual, group, and family therapy.

For businesses or individuals that are interested, the tax credits earned through the EITC program may be applied against the tax liability of a business for the tax year in which the contribution was made. If you’d like to learn more, please visit the link here. If you’d like to discuss an EITC donation or have questions about the program, please reach out to Torrina Bennett-Michael, Director of Development, by email at torrina.bennett-michael@rhd.org or (267) 279-4295.
