FCM - Guide on How to Transition Your Ice Rinks to Net-Zero
The FCM (Federation of Canadian Municipalities) has provided a guide to help with transitioning your community ice rinks to net-zero. This can deliver significant reductions in energy consumption, utility costs and local GHG emissions. There are plenty of improvements that can be implemented but it’s not always clear where to start and how to choose programs with the greatest impact.

The guidebook "Taking Your Indoor Ice Rink to Net Zero" is for municipalities looking to retrofit existing facilities to save energy and reduce emissions. While the guide focuses retrofitting indoor ice rinks, its approach and lessons can still be applied to other municipal buildings.

FCM - REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
FCM is seeking individual organizations or consortiums as strategic collaborators who will work with FCM to support the advancement of high-performance energy efficiency and net-zero retrofits in municipal community facilities.

Please read the Request for Proposal located through the button below. Submissions should be made using the submittable platform also located below. Any questions should be sent by the deadline of December 19th, 2022, the closing date for submissions is January 16th, 2023, 11:59:59 PM EST.
