I am happy to share with you details for booking hotel rooms in Atlantic City for the NJSIAA individual state wrestling tournament to be held Thursday-Saturday, March 2-4, 2023.
In addition to Caesars and Bally's, I am excited to share that I have blocked 125 rooms at TROPICANA ATLANTIC CITY for the very first time. Many people have asked over the years about the Trop and until now, I’ve been unable to get rooms. I’m so happy to be able to provide this excellent hotel at very competitive rates. It is 0.4 miles from Boardwalk Hall. Bally’s also is 0.4 miles and Caesars is 0.2 miles away.

In addition, the tax is currently 13.625% plus occupancy and tourism fees of $7 per night. Each hotel also has a resort fee – Caesars and Tropicana is $14 per night plus tax, and Bally’s is $26 per night plus tax. All taxes and fees are subject to change.

Last year, people who called to confirm experienced more issues/problems than those who made their reservations online. You will be asked for a credit card that will NOT be charged unless you fail to cancel your room at least 72 hours prior to arrival.

This year will be a challenge as I have a 30 day cut-off. This means if you have not booked your rooms by JANUARY 29TH, the hotels will not honor the rates above. And just for your information, I am generally sold out by Mid-January. You WILL be able to cancel any rooms that you don’t need up until 72 hours prior to check in.
COACHES – If you plan to have your school prepay your rooms, it is CRITICAL to reserve now to begin the process. Should you need to cancel, your school will be refunded. The hotels MUST RECEIVE CHECKS no later than February 15th (two weeks prior to check in). Please contact me with your confirmation numbers after you have reserved your rooms, and I will assist you with the process.
