Re: Assistant Principal Leadership Accelerator

We are now accepting nominations for the next cohort of the AP Accelerator program. This program provides just-in-time leadership training to your strongest assistant principals who are in line to be rising principals in the near future for a school in your district.  

Your district may qualify for this grant-funded Assistant Principal Accelerator program if: 

   1.   You anticipate having an upcoming principal vacancy in the 2023-24 or 2024-25 

        school year AND 

   2.  You have a strong assistant principal who you have identified as a potential    

        prospect for one of your next vacancies who could benefit from additional coaching

        and support to get ready. 

Participants will be provided a concentrated blended curriculum of job-embedded professional development experiences and coaching designed to accelerate their readiness to lead and turnaround schools. They will also be provided support throughout their first year as principals to facilitate their success.  

As this program comes at no cost to the participants, there are a limited number of spaces in this leadership acceleration program. If you would like to nominate one or more of your assistant principals for consideration, please click here. Please note, for each nominee you will be asked to rate their readiness as well as the likelihood of an upcoming vacancy in your district. Please submit your nominations by August 15, 2022.
