Rob has been in the surety industry for nearly 30 years. Through this time, Rob has seen the industry and of course the economy go through lots of change and various cycles. He is proud of the surety industry and the value we collectively bring to companies and transactions. Rob is also an advocate for SAC’s important role in this and is currently on SAC’s Board of Directors.

Steve has been in the industry for approximately 25 years after getting his start with AIG back in 1997, which was followed by a move to Travelers. He currently holds the position of Vice President, Surety at Liberty Mutual Canada. Steve is also a member on SAC’s Board of Directors.

Lois has 30 years of Surety broking experience and as National Practice Leader, she provides consultation on surety issues and implementation of strategies. She will provide surety program placement, and more importantly, strategic leadership related to surety. Lois brings extensive experience and visibility into the surety market. She is affiliated with the Surety Association of Canada and the Calgary Construction Association.

Michelle is an experienced surety professional with over 27 years working in both contract and commercial surety. She began her surety career in 1995 and had spent two years as a broker before returning to the underwriting side with then newcomer, Trisura Guarantee Insurance Company. Michelle is now with start-up, Tokio Marine Canada as Manager, Surety Solutions, embracing the excitement that comes with building a new team and company.
