Dear Artisans,

Two days ago, we had completely sold out within a couple hours of sending this offer. Fortunately we were able to secure one more drop to offer this last call!

I hate to say that this belongs in a Ripley's Believe it or Not museum, but we can't recall the last time we offered anything remotely close to this:

  • Boutique Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

  • Organic St. Helena single-vineyard

  • Outstanding vintage (2019)

  • Highly rated by multiple publications (95 to 91 points)

  • Outstanding winemaking team - Master Sommelier Ian Cauble & Trevor Sheehan

  • Aged 18 months in 50% new French & American oak

  • Decade-long drinking window

  • Priced between $29.97 to $23.97 per bottle

This is the real deal and every lover of fine wine should get all they can fit. We tried to ourselves. Alas, we secured only 15 cases to offer you, which will be gone by dinner tonight.

You likely watched Master Sommelier Ian Cauble in the now-iconic documentaries "Somm" and "Somm II: Into The Bottle" and witnessed his frighteningly intense palate, focus, energy, knowledge, and attention to detail. That praiseworthy talent definitely shows in every ounce of this great wine. He teamed up with long-time friend Trevor Sheehan of Precision Wine Company, who spent nearly a decade learning from the master winemakers of Burgundy and Bordeaux before returning to craft expressive California wines, to create Method.

We guarantee you'll find this multi-case-worthy. Long-time readers: this is total deja vu and just like these greatest hits from a decade ago such as Paul Hobbs Black Ink, CrossBarn, Rubus, Round Pond Kith & Kin, Alpha Omega II, to name a few. Method is the same quality but in a current style: vibrant, pure, red fruit-toned, fresh, and food-friendly.

All my best,
—James Tran
2019 Precision Wine Co. "Method" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

95 Points - James Suckling:
"A structured and powerful wine with blackcurrant, dark chocolate and hazelnut. Crunchy seeds. Flowers. It’s full and juicy. Plenty of fruit and a fresh finish. Clearly shows the excellence of the vintage with the pure fruit. Drink or hold." - James Suckling, (3/23)

92 Points - Wine & Spirits:
"An open, racy cabernet, this has the cool feel of stone in a deep well, that tannic depth completely filled by ripe plum fruit. Brighter notes of cherries and cranberries emerge with air, and the wine retains its lively feel, suggesting it will improve over the next several years in bottle." - JG (6/22)

91 Points - Jeb Dunnuck:
"The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Method Napa Valley is based on 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot, all from Napa Valley. Its ruby/purple hue is followed by a spicy, complex, incredibly satisfying Cabernet revealing lots of mulled red and black fruits, medium to full body, velvety, soft tannins, and classic Napa Valley chocolate, tapenade, and flowery incense-like aromas and flavors. It brings plenty of sweet fruit yet stays nicely balanced and is undeniably delicious. Enjoy bottles over the coming 4-5 years or so. Drink 2023-2028." (5/22/23)
