Hey cheries,
What do YOU dream of?
Can you describe your dream life? Doesn't have to be to anyone else. Just to yourself is fine. No limit on words. Just roll it out without thinking too much about it.
This is different from a bucket list, line items you want to do and check off in this lifetime. Love bucket lists, but a life bursts beyond lists.
Describing your dream life is painting an exquisitely vibrant picture with colors so wildly joyous they soar off the canvas to sweep you away somewhere you've never been before, or using untamed freely associated words that appear in a nonsensical poetic jumble (or not) to describe the luscious life you dream of, a life without limits, the life you'd love to jump into right now if wishes were kings and kings lived to serve YOU.
So, what does it look like?
Why am I asking this now?
Because I ask myself this every fall when children return to school. I don't wait for January 1st. This question pops up every year when back-to-school emails and retail circulars advertising school supplies and backpacks arrive in my mailboxes carrying dreams, intangible possibilities and renewal, for everyone.
It's time for children to learn new things. A chance to think about who they want to be this year, reinvent themselves if they choose. Define and pursue new goals, friends, studies, sports,...And, it's time for me to do the same. Because the surplus of new energy and re-creation is in the air, and....why not?
I believe that to a great extent, we create our reality with the energy we absorb, claim as our own, and share, of which beliefs, thoughts, dreams and wishes are a substantial part.
The way in which we choose to perceive and interpret our world can either open us up to incredible potential or close us inside little boxes of our own making.
I recognize that we may not all start with the same ingredients or from the same place. The world may erect limits on our freedom.
But, our dreams, in virtue of the nature of their origin, remain all-powerful beyond the realm of the physical world's limitations.
Dreams hold the potential to change history, your own and the world's.
You know that dreams are what keep my heart beating. Doesn't get any more real than that. True for you too?
This year, when you see big orange school buses ride down the streets, g
et out there and create your dream life! One step at a time. I'll do the same.
Happy Dream Month EVERYONE!
Hugs, xoxo

AUGUST is the last month for this special offer!
Your skin goes wherever you go - Keep it soft, smooth, and gorgeously fragrant!
There's something about end of summer skin build-up. It can happen to all of us. This morning when applying my lotion, I noticed that the skin around my neck and the tops of my shoulders was shedding. Yes, moi, who regularly exfoliates, but true confession, I may have been less than vigilant the last couple of weeks (and that's all it takes) with back-to-school mom stuff squeezed in between one more weekend getaway before school photos, laptops, registrations,...
So, there you go, must get out the Gentle Exfoliating Sugar Scrub tonight. Bye-bye dead surface skin cells, hello softer smoother skin!
Pop them in your purse, tote or carry-on.
