Celebrate WOYC by investing in YOU!
|
The Week of the Young Child was established over forty years ago by the
National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). This week-long event encourages communities, organizations, and programs to develop unique, local celebrations, in order to bring public attention to the needs of young children and their families. It is also an opportunity to recognize the dedication and hard work of committed members of the Early Childhood community, who tirelessly work to meet the needs of children and families.
DIEEC PD can think of no better way to celebrate in April and beyond, than to register for Saturday seminars. Take advantage of this low cost training opportunity and learn ways to advocate for your profession and gain resources to support families, children and staff. Add tools to your tool-box and take home useful resources to use on Monday. As a gift to you for attending, and in celebration of WOYC, participants will be entered to win a toy or book for his or her classroom.
If Saturday Seminars don't work for you, don't worry. There are many other workshops available in each county. Click on the links below to download a monthly calendar.
