Power Outage Safety
Our region can produce some extreme weather conditions, regardless of the season. Be prepared with these tips.
During an outage:
-Stay away from downed power lines.
-Don't touch a person or object in contact with a power line.
-Stay inside your car if it is in contact with a power line.
-Turn of all appliances to avoid circuit overload when restored.
-Never leave burning candles unattended.
-Keep freezer and refrigerator fully closed.
