RCEDC Leadership Council hosted an Empowering Entrepreneurs Event

The RCEDC Leadership Council held its July meeting, invited the public to attend, and convened a panel of entrepreneurs and service providers to share insights regarding available small business resources. Because RCEDC's 2023 Strategic Plan includes a goal to determine what additional support may be needed to enhance the entrepreneurial environment in Racine County, an invited panel of experts assisted with this effort.

The panelists shared their journeys from concept to launch and noted that they were unaware of all of the programs available in Racine County. They further indicated that unless service providers better promote their programs, businesses may not know they exist. Additionally, the panelists suggested that current resources may need to be expanded or new programs added to meet the needs of future and existing business owners.

To promote existing service providers and resources, RCEDC created a new entrepreneurial resource hub that lists service providers, programs offered, and contact information. This information can be accessed following the link below.
