June 6, 2023

VBS 2023 is quickly approaching and will take place from 6/19-6/23. We still need volunteers, so please email Camille at camille@rbcstaff.com if you are willing to serve. Also, registration for VBS is now open here! (The sooner, the better so we know how many supplies to order!!) We hope to see everyone there.

Join us for our community family movie night on July 21st starting at 7:00 PM! Water and popcorn will be provided, but please plan to bring your own chair or blanket. This event will take place outdoors. However, in the event of rain, the movie will be played in the Fellowship Hall.

We are excited to announce that Dr. Paul House of Beeson Divinity School will be joining us as our retreat guest speaker, and Justin Cross will be leading worship. You don't want to miss this! Sign up here for the 2023 RBC Churchwide Retreat by 6/25!

See the tentative retreat schedule here! Confirmed times will be posted in July.

Parents and Teachers,

On August 5th we will be having our

Back to School Bash as an Ice Cream Social!!! Starting at 2pm I will have a parents' meeting in the Fellowship Hall. This will be a time for me to get important information to you and from you. PLEASE make sure you are here. This is an important meeting.

While the parents are in their meeting with me, the kids will be meeting with their Sunday School teachers as the next day, August 6th, is promotion Sunday.

After the meeting we will all come together for our Ice Cream Social!

I am already in preparation for the new year ahead and am excited for our continued partnership in helping raise up a new generation of believers!

1.  Nehemiah 8: 10b NASB “… Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Father God, just as the Israelites listened to the reading from the book, the law of God, Your message to them was not to grieve, because the day was holy. We too find joy in the observance of Your laws and in our worship of You. Would You teach us the sacredness of treating Your word as living truth? Thank You for the joy that strengthens us when we obey Your word.

2.   Isaiah 12: 2 NASB “Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the Lord God is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.” Father, what wonderful words of encouragement and hope. You are our declaration of present and eternal security. You are our provision for strength and fearlessness. We sing because of the joy You have placed in our hearts. Thank You Father for our salvation.
