I find it quite interesting that the Apostle Paul, WHO, WHILE RESIDING IN A PRISON CELL, exhorted the Believers to “FOLLOW him!!!!”
WOW-WHAT AN EXAMPLE!!! A man, sitting in prison..................................
But Paul was a REAL man-a REALIST!!! His theology, his practice, his life style is and was a template of what “being a man” entails/REQUIRES!!!
Being a man REQUIRES strength and ENDURANCE!!!!
Ya see, RIGHT IS RIGHT, no matter how many say is wrong, and wrong is wrong, NO MATTER HOW MANY SAY IT IS RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I THANK GOD that I have and had THREE real MEN in my life to “show me” how and the why of being a man.
The first MAN, of course, is my father, HAROLD LANE DRUCKER, a simple furniture salesman.
He was “NOT” a “successful” man in worldly term-just a mere man who worked long retail hours and polished his shoes nightly with KIWI shoe polish!!!
He taught me how to cut the grass and keep a clean car-did I mention I always hated his shoes?????
He never had time to attend my sporting events as he worked 9 till nine-six days a week-and washed cars and cut grass on Sundays. He NEVER mentioned the FACT that he was Jewish and Mama sent us to Sunday School.
I led him to the Lord Jesus Christ on his death bed.
Then there was Chief Bob Williams-Chief of police in Avondale Estates, GA.
He opened his home in Pine Lake Georgia to reach the troubled youth he spent his days arresting!! I was SAVED in his home after attending my first home Bible Church and until his death he mentored me into a fine human being!!!
Number 3 is Bishop Harry Mushegan-the FINEST Christian I have ever encountered!!!
He LIVED, BREATHED AND ACTED as a TRUE Christian and taught me the ropes of being a loving and CARING man of God. He was the closest man to God I have ever known and as far as I experienced-without sin.........

I too often grow weary as I grow older and sense my “usefulness” slipping.......
My beloved son Joshua in prison again reminds me of WHO I am and just my VALUE as a MAN who “QUITS you like men!!!!”
Believe it or not, MEN, MANY are WATCHING YOU-YES YOU, SIR DAD.
Oftentimes just the “mere” fact that you, as FATHERS, still stand!!!!
The late philosopher John Milton wrote this one line:
“They also serve who only stand and wait.”
HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!
I have had a GREAT one today as I got my son Bubba to buy me his favorite lunch at the Thai restaurant!!!! Many sons and daughters have also called and I am a happy and CONTENT father today!!
