Quarterly Newsletter January to March 2023
Dear Friends,
Thank you for taking the time to read this newsletter, packed with information detailing the happenings, events and successes we have realized across our many programs and services. Each day I continue to be amazed at the sheer volume of activities our staff undertake on any given day. From direct programs and services, to engaging with volunteers, and leading efforts to inform and educate the public around about matters related to poverty, marginalization and social justice, it is truly humbling to witness the professionalism and caring effort the team puts forth. I hope you enjoy the highlights of activities that follow.

We are entering the Lenten Season—a time in our faith tradition to engage in prayer and sacrifice. As you embark on your own Lenten journey, I invite you to make acts of social justice a part of your prayer and sacrifice. Maybe you will learn more about an issue that is creating discord or divisiveness in our community. Perhaps you can assist in an activity that responds to the needs of others or that has the potential to improve the conditions of a community in need. In addition to prayer, there is always an opportunity to provide financial support to a program or service in your neighborhood, community, or county that addresses a social concern. If you are at a loss of where to begin I invite you to reach out to Catholic Charities, we are happy to help identify opportunities within our agency or with one of our many community partners, that might interest you. As always, thank you for your continued support.
