Center for Economic Education & Entrepreneurship
1st quarter 2017 newsletter
Community engagement and public service are of broad and current interest here at the University of Delaware.  While collegiate centers like ours have always aimed to make positive contributions to the places within which we live and work, we are continuously re-examining how we might better serve our community.

Over the past few months, the CEEE has made a concerted effort to coordinate with colleagues across institutional borders in order to improve the delivery of university support to local academic alliances. We've also collaborated with MAEEE alumni, inviting them back regularly to lead meaningful workshops in economic education. We're working side-by-side with the Department of Education in developing more effective standards for personal finance. We've co-sponsored bridge-building events that share relevant and timely insights with local business partners. The result of these and other partnerships has been better packaging and delivery of economic, personal finance, and entrepreneurship education for Delawareans.

Looking ahead, our robust spring calendar offers plenty of opportunity for our state's teachers and students to learn, experiment, be recognized, and grow. We invite you to look over our upcoming events ; should you have a need not addressed by our schedule, please let us know how we might help.

We realize that the consequentiality of our work is directly related to the health of our society and understand that it does take a village to raise a child-- a child that will grow up to be an informed and prepared citizen. We thank you for your past, current, and future partnership in this work-- great things do result from an intentional and engaged community.
