Center for Economic Education & Entrepreneurship
January 2018 newsletter

The Center for Economic Education and Entrepreneurship believes that it's important for K-12 students to be taught about scarce resources and how people can work together to choose and produce wisely; to be coached on how to improve their own economic and financial well-being; and to be encouraged to explore career paths with ambition, creativity, and innovation so they might better serve the changing needs of our world. Furthermore, we think it's crucial that teachers be given all that they need to teach these valuable lessons well.

So when a CEEE program coordinator recently walked down the hall of a school and a teacher yelled over, "Hey, aren't you the person from the UD Center that offers valuable training and resources that make my job so much easier and my students better prepared for their lives ahead?" we know we're getting it right! We take pride in providing the skills required for necessary progress and change, and can see that our work really matters.

This month, we're sharing our progress with you. We invite you to page through our most recent annual report to see what we're accomplishing together and we welcome you to explore what's still in store for teachers, students, and volunteers during the remainder of the academic year.

The work of outfitting teachers so that they can help prepare more cognizant, responsible, and contributing citizens affects and should therefore matter to each of us. Tackling this work together, we're much more likely to make a difference!

Thank you for your continued partnership,
