Center for Economic Education & Entrepreneurship
3rd quarter 2017 newsletter

The season of jack-o-lanterns and frost on the pumpkin is upon us. Kids scramble to assemble safe and comfortable costumes, hoping to well-position themselves for a rewarding night of trick-or-treat. With nervous smiles, parents send children out into Halloween's big, bad world. Preparing and launching young people so that they can venture out ready and confident into an uncertain world is what we do here at the CEEE. Through our teacher-training programs, we teach students how to handle money well, illustrate that their futures ride upon the choices they make, and explain how all are intrinsically connected to a world much bigger than themselves-- one which they have the power to shape.

To be successful in the work of economic, personal finance, and entrepreneurship education, we must build effective collaborative relationships with others similarly excited about this empowerment message. With cooperation from expert advisors, committed donors, and tireless volunteers, Delaware students are receiving these very important keys to success. Through an active and connected network of master teachers who share an affinity for this work, the CEEE expands this instruction far beyond our state. We understand that only through such passionate engagement and collaboration can a vibrant and healthy society emerge.

We look forward to continuing this important work together and, as always, remain very grateful for your support.
