QuakeCon 2016 - Less Than Three Months Away!
That's right, we are only 86 days away from the biggest LAN party in North America! With panels and round table discussions, tournaments and live finals party, contests and giveaways, exhibit hall vendors and mini-games, there is something for everyone in the family. We are excited to see you there!
And the winner is...

Congratulations to Steven Offield, whose design has been voted as the winner of our QuakeCon 2016 DYO BYOC2* T-Shirt Design Contest. As the winner of the competition, he's taking home a UAC package and a sweet merch credit!
After sharing the good news, we caught up with him to get a quick story on what inspired his winning design:
"I originally came up with the skyline art in 2013 for a different project. I painted it on my soon-to-been-born son's bedroom wall. We're a big super hero family, so making the Dallas Skyline into Gotham seemed like a no-brainer."

Wanna be as happy as this guy?  Well you're in luck, because Ventrilo and QuakeCon will be teaming up for the ninth annual 'Ultimate Power Up' Sweepstakes! 

"We're thrilled to return to QuakeCon this year to once again give fans the opportunity to win a share of the "Ultimate Power Up" prizes," said Brian Knapp, president of Flagship Industries. "Our group voice communications technology has been connecting players for well over a decade, and we're honored to show our appreciation to the gaming community that continue to support Ventrilo along the way."
The 'Ultimate Power Up' winners will be randomly selected on Saturday, August 6th, as part of the QuakeCon tournament finals event on the Ventrilo Main Stage. A total of 100 coveted tickets will be awarded to attendees throughout each day of the show through QuakeCon contests, random drawings, and other events.

QuakeCon Official Tournaments Announced!

To celebrate QuakeCon's 20th anniversary and 20 years of Quake, we're pleased to announce this year's official tournaments. Players from around the globe will once again come together to compete for their share of $25,000 cash in the QUAKEWORLD 2on2 Team Deathmatch Open and the Quake Live masters will be invited back to battle for the 2016 title and $25,000 in the QUAKE LIVE Duel Masters Championship.
