Provider Reimbursement

QTC IS THE SOLE PAYOR. PLEASE DO NOT BILL THE SERVICE MEMBER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Providers do not need to bill QTC separately. Payment will be processed through QTCs payment process based on reports submitted through QTC Provider Portal. For providers that are associated with business partners, please reach out to your point of contact for more reimbursement information.

Service Member Surveys

Following each appointment, all Service Members will receive a brief survey that is aimed to gather feedback, opinions and experiences. This helps in understanding customer satisfaction, improving services and identifying any areas for growth or change.

Approach all Service Members in a considerate manner. Avoid interruptions and delays in initiating the exam as well as making jokes, inappropriate remarks or personal comments.

Unusual Incident

Unusual Incident is defined as something that occurred during provision of service that may have or will result in:

  • risks to health and safety
  • result in legal claims
  • involvement of senior Government officials

Recent case scenario:

A service member states that they have homicidal/suicidal ideations with intentions to act. Provider MUST do a warm hand over with the military crisis line, call authorities if warranted, submit an Unusual Incident Report (UIR) and call QTC at 833-782-7477 option 7.

Military Crisis Line: 800-273-8255

AN UNUSUAL INCIDENT REPORT (UIR) FORM IS REQUIRED FOR ALL EMERGENT (EMERGENCY) INCIDENTS

Definitions and examples of an emergent incident can be found above the quick link buttons.

The UIR can also be accessed from the CONTACT link on the homepage.

YES TO SUICIDAL AND HOMICIDAL IDEATION

A UIR must be completed for all Suicidal and Homicidal ideation risk levels - high, intermediate and low. Ensure to complete the UIR form if YES is selected for either of these questions:

  • Does Service member pose a current risk of harm to self?
  • Does the member pose a current risk to others?

Example: PCL score 46; SM acknowledge PTSD education instructed to seek help if symptoms worsen, no referral at this time.
