Congratulations to brother and sister Anthony and Alice for completing the Kumon Reading Program.  Both Anthony and Alice enrolled in January of 2013 and worked diligently through the end of the school year and finished in July, a seven month stint that will have lasting benefits throughout their academic and professional careers.  Anthony started the math program shortly after finishing the reading program and is already into level K calculus. Anthony will be awarded the J200 Math Plaque in addition to the reading program completion awards.

Congratulations again to Xander, an honored staff member at Kumon Issaquah Highlands.  Xander completed the math program last summer and immediately began the reading program.  He finished the reading program in exactly thirteen months, July 2012 to July 2013.  Xander is now on the President's List, working on math level X. Congratulations Xander.

Other program completers employed at Kumon Issaquah Highlands include Catherine and Supriya.  Catherine completed the reading program and about half of level K math.  Supriya is a duo program completer and as of this week has returned to UW.

Former Kumon Students are among our best staff members!  Sarika has now joined our staff.  Sarika and her brothers started Kumon at our old location on Gilman Boulevard and later transferred to the Pine Lake Center.  Sarika was well into level O when she stopped short of finishing.  Siri did Kumon throughout preschool and elementary school and finished the algebra portion of the math program.

Congratulations to all of our Kumon Students!  Your accomplishments will resound today, tomorrow, this school year and next.  Throughout your academic career as well as your personal endeavors I hope that all of my students will credit Kumon for giving them the confidence to achieve any goal they desire.  More than a few former and current Kumon Students have told me that doing Kumon makes them feel like they can do anything.
