Chair Report

Dear ACHE of Indiana Members,

I am thrilled and honored to step into the role of ACHE of Indiana Chapter President for 2024. I am excited to serve along with our returning and new board members. I want to extend a huge thank you to Rodney Hollis, our Immediate Past President, for his years of dedicated service to our chapter. We wish him the best as his career has relocated him out of Indiana. One of the remarkable achievements under Rodney’s leadership

was receipt of the 2024 Award of Merit for exceeding established targets in education and networking.

ACHE is the premier organization for healthcare executives and managers, and in our

Indiana chapter, our mission is simple: to support you in your professional, educational,

and leadership journeys. We want to be the place where you can grow and excel in your

career. One way we do this is through our diverse range of educational events held

throughout the year. We strive to ensure these events are accessible to everyone in our

chapter, so we are planning to hold a few events at locations outside the Indianapolis

area. ACHE has a new program that allows us to hold some events virtually as well. Be

on the lookout for upcoming announcements about these events.

Our membership is a vibrant mix of students, early careerists, seasoned executives,

and professionals from all corners of healthcare. This diversity is our strength, fueling

innovation and creativity in everything we do. We offer programs and resources tailored

to every stage of your career, from networking opportunities for students and early

careerists and educational support for those pursuing ACHE Fellow certification.

As someone who has been part of ACHE since 2006, I can attest to the value of this

community. I urge each of you to get involved in ACHE of Indiana activities. Your

engagement is what keeps our chapter thriving and ensures our collective success.

Thank you for your ongoing support and enthusiasm.

Warm regards,

Sheila Kelty, DHA, FACHE
