  • On June 22, 2020, Rebecca Wisotsky, Lyle Mathew Kan, and Alexander Lee facilitated a training on transgender inclusion at the Open Society Foundation. The virtual session shared key themes in LGBTQ history and impacts on educational and employment opportunities for transgender, GNC, and NB people, with a particular emphasis on trans people of color. Over 95 OSF staff attended the training from many of the OSF offices around the world.

  • On August 5th we hosted the first of two virtual healing justice workshops for a cohort of LGBTQ COVID-19 rapid response funds. Planned at the request of this group of funders, the sessions aim to identify practices that will fortify practitioners - especially LGBTQ people of color and allies - for the long haul. The workshops are being led by healing justice practitioner, healer, and facilitator, Amadeo Cruz Guiao.
