Joint Affinity Groups Respond in Unity to "Original Americans Foundation"
In recent months, Dan Snyder, owner of the Washington football team, established the "Washington Redskins Original Americans Foundation." Research, Resources and Updates 
  • "Pathways Forward: Foundation Funding For LGBTQ Immigration Issues"
    Funders for LGBTQ Issues has released a new report providing detailed data on the current scope and character of foundation funding at the intersection of LGBTQ and immigrant rights. The report also includes an infographic, which can be seen here. Pathways Forward Co-Author, Danilo Machado, also penned an op-ed in The Advocate about what it means to live at the intersections of queer and undocumented.  The op-ed can be read here.
Requests for Proposals
  • North West Health Foundation
    The North West Health Foundation has announced its Healthy Beginnings+Healthy Communities Organizing Grant RFP to help up to 30 communities improve health, from birth to high school. The deadline is October 3.
  • American Psychological Foundation
    The Roy Scrivner Research Grants provide graduate student grants of $12,000 for empirical or applied research that encourages the study of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) family psychology and LGBT family therapy.  The deadline is November 1.

Recent Grant Award Announcements

  • Arcus Foundation 
    Arcus Foundation announces its summer social justice grants to 27 organizations.  In addition, the Arcus Foundation has announced 9 grants for LGBT documentaries, which can be viewed here
  • Equity Foundation
    The Equity Foundation has awarded $59,000 to 21 LGBTQ organizations across Oregon. 
  • The Paul Rapoport Foundation 
    The Paul Rapoport Foundation announced an increase of its endowment of the Paul Rapoport Fellowship to $1,008,000 for new LGBT lawyers of color in New York.
  • The Adam Foundation 
    The Adam Foundation awarded $50,000 in grants and sponsorships to 17 organizations.
  • Big Lottery Fund (UK)
    The Big Lottery Fund issued a �473,123 grant to support the reduction of bullying, homphobia, biphobia and transphobia in schools and youth clubs in the UK.
  • Milton and Tamar Maltz Family Foundation
    The Milton and Tamar Maltz Family Foundation has awarded a $500,000 matching grant to the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Community Center of Greater Cleveland to establish an endowment over the next two years.
