HURRICANE FIONA FLOODS PUERTO RICO

Hurricane Fiona struck Puerto Rico's southwest coast on Sunday as it unleashed landslides, knocked the power grid out and ripped up asphalt from roads and flung the pieces around.

“As you can see, it's a disaster," Carlos Jimenez, told Telemundo Puerto Rico. "I know I'll get up from this one, but it's tough."

Disaster Relief and Recovery

Disaster Relief projects include flood clean up, debris removal, housing construction and repair, and support for local community organizations.

Environmental Restoration projects include tree planting, native plant propagation, stream debris removal, wild-life habitat improvement, storm water treatment, public land restoration.

Community Recovery projects include; working with community-based programs that serve youth, homeless, elderly and low-income members of the community.

CCI provides all food, lodging, transportation, project coordination, safety equipment, and insurance for Puerto Rico disaster relief projects.
