During fiscal year 2020-21, your Skokie Park District again served as a national and state leader in the parks and recreation industry, continuing to provide state-of-the-art facilities, beautiful parks, and cutting-edge programming for Skokie residents. As the COVID-19 pandemic forced temporary facility closures and some program cancellations, district staff continued to safely maintain parks and facilities, as well as create online and in-person recreational programming. Kid-Parent Holiday Ham Basketball Shot

Children ages 6-13 and their parents/guardians (18 and up) are invited to show off their basketball shooting skills! This timed event will have your pair taking turns shooting shots from spots around the basketball court. The winner of each age division will receive a frozen ham to enjoy or donate for the holiday.  Weber Leisure Center Gym, 9300 Weber Park Place Saturday, December 18, 1-3 p.m. For further information please contact Kim Wilson via email or call (847) 929-8511.

Gnome Hunt at Emily Oaks

Join us at Emily Oaks Nature Center for a photo scavenger hunt! There are 26 hidden gnomes along our trails, and the QR code at the trailhead will help you keep track of all of them. When you find a gnome, leave it in its spot, but take a photo to show the staff via email (eonc@skokieparks.org) or post it to our Facebook page. Happy Hunting! Resident Communication Survey raffle winner

Celia Stennett! Celia Stennett's name was drawn after responding to our Resident Communications Survey and has won a $500 Visa Gift Card. Thanks to all 552 participants in the recent survey. We will use the results to inform future decisions regarding communicating with Skokie Park District residents!
