Long Beach Utilities is closing Ravenna Bridge over the Rivo Alto Canal in both directions between Corinthian Walk for utilities storm related maintenance today.
Residents needing to access Naples Island may use The Toledo as an alternative route. Detour signage is in place.
Utilities will provide an update on when the bridge will reopen as soon as information becomes available.
In preparation for these storm series, the City issued a storm advisory on Jan. 31 and developed a centralized communications hub, available at longbeach.gov/lbrain to house pertinent storm preparedness and response information for residents. People are encouraged to follow the City’s main social media pages on Facebook, X and Instagram using hashtag #LBRain. Residents are also encouraged to sign up for Alert Long Beach to receive free emergency notifications from the City of Long Beach.
