Ann Patchett at Powell's Books
Laura Stanfill, publisher of Forest Avenue Press and a PubWest board member, visits with Ann Patchett during her Commonwealth book tour, which included a stop at Powell's Books on Tuesday night that attracted more than 360 attendees. Ann's copy editor for Commonwealth, Anne Connell, is a friend of Laura's from Women in Portland Publishing, which led to this image, despite Ann's rules about only allowing candid photos at her events due to crowd volume.
