Steps for Success

Two Days, 71 Business Partners, and hundreds of Mock Interviews were completed last week! During this round of fall mock interviews our students were able to fine tune their communication skills, gain real world interview experience and hear valuable feedback from professionals in various fields. As the day went on we witnessed our students displaying growth through increased confidence in their speaking abilities while obtaining a deeper understanding of their career goals. We must thank our business partners and sponsors for volunteering their time and for doing an outstanding job conducting interviews. Their guidance and insight is invaluable in helping to prepare our students for the future!

Pumpkin Chunk'n

9 teams competed at Purdue Polytechnic New Albany to "chunk" pumpkins up to 100 yards all in the name of science! Each team was to construct a trebuchet that could stand up to the challenge! Prosser's own Automation and Robotics class competed and came out on TOP! They even collaborated with Construction Trades, Precision Machining, and Welding to create their award winning trebuchet by each class bringing their own unique skills sets and talents to the table. Their design was built with materials purchased thanks to the generous donations of their sponsors: RNDR Medical, GLOBE, Midwest Medical Works, Inc., CEPEDA, Full Circle Automation, TG Missouri, PACO, Fred Smith, and the New Albany Floyd County Education Foundation.
