Dear Project QUEST Family & Friends,
It is my sincere honor and pleasure to share with you for the first time as President and CEO our Project QUEST’s Spring 2024 quarterly newsletter. I could not be more proud to share with you the many activities, celebrations and life changing work done by the passionate and highly skilled QUEST staff. I continue to be amazed by our team’s unapologetic passion and dedication to changing the lives of each participant served as well as the greater San Antonio community we collaborate with. A testament to our team’s commitment to our transformational work is Maria, who celebrated her 30th anniversary at QUEST.
Key to the success of QUEST is our amazing and equally passionate community, business and training partner that are essential to the success of our services.

During this time, we made a point to reconnect with them, update them on our shared success, and discuss new opportunities for collaboration. It takes a village and we are proud of our partners who enrich the lives of our participants along their QUEST for success!
We are also very proud to share with you our newly released annual report for the most recently completed fiscal year. We hope you will take a few minutes to learn about our shared accomplishments and learn how Project QUEST is Reaching New Heights!

for their commitment to hire Ready to Work graduates.

QUEST has a longstanding partnership with University Health as it continues to be one of the top employers for our QUESTERS. In the last 18 months alone, University Health
has hired 71 graduates, with an average wage increase of 301% for our participants.

Plays a pivotal role in helping support participants along their journey to a new life.
In the past year, Easy Expunctions has played a role in the life changing journey of nine participants achieve a 302% wage increase in their new career.

Has been an essential partner for QUESTERS over the years and we look forward to increasing the number of participants at this campus.
The past couple of years, they have helped participants achieve an almost 100% wage increase!

SAGE Truck Driving School
Has helped train participants to receive their commercial drivers license (CDL) and helped them succeed along their journey towards a new career. SAGE Truck Driving School attendees have seen a 423% wage increase in their new careers!

Meet QUESTer, Sarah, a dedicated wife and mother on a transformative journey to break free from her routine customer service job. Despite an initial foray into college for teaching, she found renewed purpose in 2016 when she joined UPS, marking the beginning of her professional evolution.
Now, Sarah eagerly pursued a medical billing and coding certification at The University of The Incarnate Word, fueled by a passion for continuous growth. Impressively, her employer at UPS graciously accommodated her class schedule, emphasizing the supportive atmosphere she's cultivated.
Throughout her studies, Sarah faced various challenges, from caring for her father after knee surgery to navigating various family illnesses. Undeterred, she requested extensions when needed, showcasing her resilience and unwavering commitment.

In November 2023, Sarah successfully completed her course, culminating in the passing of the National Health Association exam the following December. Despite lacking prior medical experience, her Career Coach and Employment Coordinator expressed confidence in her potential to excel.
Under the guidance of QUEST’s Employment Team, Sarah secured a promising entry-level position at a local medical provider, a testament not only to her newfound skills but also to her determination. Sarah is poised to leave an indelible mark in the realm of healthcare administration, embodying resilience, commitment, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
