Hello clients and friends!

I'm sure it won't come as a surprise to you that one of the destinations near and dear to our hearts is Alaska! We are fortunate here in the Seattle area to be one of the main cruise ports for visiting this awe-inspiring part of our country. It has been awhile since we focused on all of the options that are available, and several of the cruise lines are making changes for 2019, so with out further ado, let us present:
ALASKA CRUISING, Summer 2019
There is a LOT to be excited about for this upcoming Alaska season! Below is a summary of what we've found. Unless noted, the ships will be sailing round trip out of Seattle with weekly departures.

  • Norwegian's new ship the Bliss, will be joined by the Norwegian Joy, with several different itineraries, depending on departure dates and ship.

  • Royal Caribbean will be sending the revolutionary Ovation of the Seas to cruise the glaciers in place of the Explorer.

  • Holland America can take you to visit Glacier Bay on the Eurodam or the Hubbard Glacier on the Oosterdam.

  • Princess also has two ships sailing the Inside Passage, the Star and the Ruby.

  • The Celebrity Solstice will visit Tracy Arm Fjord next Summer.

  • Silversea will offer small ship luxury and access to smaller ports on one-way voyages between Seward and Vancouver.

  • Cunard returns to Alaska after 20 years, with the Queen Elizabeth setting out on her first voyage in Alaskan waters. She will depart on round-trip 10-day voyages out of Vancouver, visiting both Tracy Arm and Hubbard Glacier.

  • Windstar is sending their yacht, the Star Legend. for its second season in Alaska, sailing from Seward to Vancouver and reverse. One 12-day Vancouver round-trip is offered 31 Aug 2019.

  • UnCruise Adventures offers *12* different small ship itineraries this summer, anywhere from 7-21 nights, and on a variety of vessels, from a 22-guest yacht to a 90-guest expedition ship.
All of the cruise lines offer land packages in Alaska that coordinate with their cruise departures; this is a fantastic way to visit Fairbanks in the interior, or see Denali National Park. One-way-non-stop flights to and from Anchorage are very reasonable, currently running about $229.

And pricing for many of the cruise lines is available for 2020--just ask!
