Hello clients and friends!

Many of you are veteran cruisers who have been sailing the world for a number of years. But did you know that the cruise industry is a vibrant and rapidly expanding part of the travel industry? All of the major cruise lines have been refurbishing their ships over the last 5-10 years, and now we are seeing the launch of several new ships that are absolutely breathtaking. We've decided to feature a few of them below... enjoy!
Celebrity EDGE

One of the biggest influences on the design of Edge was to make the destination experience even more immersive, starting right on-board. Celebrity Edge has a unique outward facing design that breaks from traditional ship design.

On Celebrity Edge, you will feel more connected with the sea and the exciting places you'll visit in a variety of spaces, ranging from the Edge Staterooms, featuring Infinite Verandas to the reimagined, terraced pool deck that offers even greater views of the destinations and every glorious shimmer of ocean in-between.

The first vacations on the Celebrity Edge will be available December 2018, and we are promoting group pricing for a voyage on January 6 , 2019, round trip from Ft. Lauderdale.

Norwegian Bliss

This lovely ship just recently floated out of the shipyard and into the final stages of construction. We are particularly excited for the Norwegian Bliss because she has been purpose built for Alaska cruises, and will make her debut right here in Seattle! Several of our office staff will be sailing on her preview cruise at the end of May, and she will be welcoming her first official passengers June 2, 2018. In the winter she will be based in Miami for Caribbean sailings.

Of course we are promoting the Alaska voyages, departing Saturdays all summer , round trip from Seattle, and visiting Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, and Saywer Glacier.
Symphony of the Seas

Barely a year after Royal Caribbean introduced the Harmony of the Seas as the biggest cruise ship in the world, Symphony of the Seas is poised to take over the title , holding up to 6,680 passengers!

There is a central atrium running the length of the ship called the Boardwalk, featuring a massive sports bar along most of the port side, and a zipline running down the middle. Waterslides, pools, an ice rink, dozens of bars and restaurants...there will be so much to do and see, a 7-day cruise might not be enough time.

Symphony of the Seas will be making her debut in the Mediterranean in April, but we have chosen to feature a Thanksgiving cruise, round trip from Miami, departing November 17. Spend the holiday exploring this amazing vessel...and let them do all the cooking and clean up!
Regal Princess

While the Regal Princess is not a new ship, she is currently offering something no other ship can: Ocean Medallion .

The concept behind the Ocean Medallion is to make your vacation as stress-free and seamless as possible, using the latest in wearable technology. Each guest receives an Ocean Medallion that will interact with kiosks and terminals throughout the ship and port, as well as the TV in your stateroom. You can set up drink preferences, itinerary appointments, and of course...open the door to your stateroom.

Ocean Medallion is currently in a preview phase on Caribbean cruises, with plans to deploy to a larger population of cruises later in the summer while the ship is in Northern Europe. We have decided to feature the New England cruises this Autumn for those interested in being one of the first to experience the revolutionary cruising enhancement.
Other ships will be debuting soon too: Celebrity is building a ship specifically for the Galapagos, the Celebrity Flora. Seabourn will be launching the new Seabourn Ovation, the latest in ultra-luxury small ship cruising. And Hurtigruten just launched a new environmentally friendly explorer ship with hybrid engines, the Roald Amundson, purpose-built to sail in Antarctic and polar waters. Let us know if you would like more information about any of these!
