Thanks to funding received from the Targeted Sector Support (TSS) initiative, SUMA is offering a 1-day procurement bootcamp for urban administrators of SUMA member municipalities at no cost.
On Tuesday May 28 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. join us in Saskatoon at the Saskatoon Inn and Conference Centre for a Procurement Bootcamp for Urban Municipal Administrators.
Step into this comprehensive workshop on urban municipal procurement, where you will be guided through a wide array of procurement essentials. From uncovering best practices to understanding mandatory requirements, policies, and cooperative buying groups, this workshop has you covered.
In this workshop participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental concepts, processes, and principles of urban municipal procurement. This includes learning about procurement methods, bidding processes, contract management, and supplier relationships. Through hands-on exercises and case studies participants will develop practical skills relevant to urban municipal procurement, including discussion on drafting procurement documents, evaluating supplier proposals, negotiating contracts, and resolving procurement-related challenges.
This is a great opportunity to become familiar with all things procurement!
