Catechetical Ministry

Growth and Resurrection through our Ministries

As we just concluded Lent and celebrated the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ at Easter Sunday, let us embrace a new opportunity of growth and resurrection within our own ministries and service to the Lord. Through my service in ministry, specifically through catechesis, I have always been amazed at how each day we are given the opportunity to not only continue the Lord’s work and preach His message of love and salvation but also grow through that process ourselves.

Hopefully during the time of Lent, we were able to take some time out of our busy schedules to reflect upon the ministry in which we are serving, to look within ourselves and ask, how can we better respond to the Lord’s calling, how can we renew ourselves once again to reach a new level of understanding and devotion? As always, allowing ourselves to be guided through this process by the Holy Spirit, I hope we took it upon ourselves to ask, how can we, as the body of Christ, continue as a whole in our growth and understanding. When we truly seek to reach the next level of growth within ourselves and as the body of Christ, we once again strive forward in our ministries to bring fruit to the Lord’s message, not only through the ministries we might find ourselves in but also in our everyday life.
