Bishop Brennan meets with the Fresno Police Department!
Bishop Brennan had the honor of visiting with Fresno's Interim Police Chief, Mindy Casto, and her community engagement staff on Wednesday, July 31st.
During the visit, they discussed community collaboration initiatives and they prayed for the hardworking men and women who keep our communities safe. We ask the faithful to join us in prayer for safety, unity and collaboration as we work together for one common goal: a safe and peaceful community.
Thank you, Fresno PD, for the warm welcome!

Vacation Bible Camp: Caring for God's Creation
St. Anthony Mary Claret, Fresno
At St. Anthony Mary Claret's Vacation Bible Camp, 63 children and teens focused on our role as caretakers of God’s creation through scripture and "Reuse, Reduce and Recycle."
Each day, all participants and volunteers attended a biblical teaching that was followed up with a craft, exercise and snack which avoided creating more garbage or minimally reusing items we would normally dispose of with one time use.
Thank you to all our volunteers, sponsors and parents who made this week possible!

The Diocese of Fresno's Annual Self-Care Retreat
There's still time to register!
Join us at the Annual Self-Care Retreat from August 16th to the 18th at the St. Anthony Retreat Center in Three Rivers to reflect on scripture.
At our Self-Care Retreats, we not only offer specific sessions, topics and activities we feel are essential in nourishing our spirituality but we also offer those seeking it an opportunity to recharge their batteries.
The theme of this year’s retreat will be “Self-Care like Jesus” in which we will explore the various ways in which Jesus teaches us to nourish and strengthen ourselves through moments of prayer, spiritual nourishment and silence. We will have moments of session talks, reflection, prayer, celebration of the liturgy and many other opportunities for those that join us at our annual Self-Care Retreat.
