The church was filled with joy and the Holy Spirit as 2 young people received baptism, 28 received First Communion and all 67 were received fully into the church family.
This has been a year-long faith formation led by Sonia Reyna and assisted by catechists Esperanza and Patrick Turner and Mary Cepeda. Assisting on that day were the Catholic Daughters, St. Anthony’s Right for Life Group, the Sisters of Divine Zeal, deacon candidate Michael Osborne along with our altar servers and choir led by Dean and Anita Rodriguez.

Health and Nursing Ministry | |
The Influence of Hanna Chrzanowska RN
The First Beatified Lay Nurse
Blessed Hanna Chrzanowska established parish nursing in the late 1950’s. She introduced homebound and disabled patients to retreats, Mass, prayers and re-integration into parish life. It was under her influence that Pope St. John Paul II designated the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes as the World Day for the Sick.
She was beatified on April 28, 2018. We ask for your prayers this month for all nurses who make sacrifices to care for the sick, homebound and disabled.
