Second Collection: Priest Retirement Fund
June 15 - 16, 2024
This Father's Day weekend, the Diocese of Fresno graciously asks the Faithful for their generosity towards the Priest Retirement Fund during the Second Collection at their parish.
Our priests stand by us in times of trial, rejoice in our times of celebration, and bring Christ to us through the Sacraments. They’ve been with us for the major moments of life — baptisms, weddings, funerals — and are a guiding presence in our everyday lives. Once their full-time priestly ministry has concluded and they retire, we can’t, and shouldn’t, forget them.
Your generosity to the Priest Retirement Fund is a direct opportunity to thank our faithful spiritual fathers by ensuring our retired priests are able to have a secure retirement.

St. Paul Catholic Newman Center, Fresno
In honor of the celebration of the Precious Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, the parishioners at St. Paul Catholic Newman Center in Fresno held a procession and solemnly prayed the rosary.
The procession was led by Fr. Byron and Fr. Robert with the help of the Eucharistic Revival Committee who organized the event and the Knights of Columbus who helped to keep everyone safe on the streets.
We are grateful to everyone who joined the procession, especially the new members of the parish and the children who just had their First Communion the day before.
