Bishop's Annual Appeal: Walking Together in Hope

The Arm of St. Jude the Apostle is making another visit to the Diocese of Fresno! Experience the intercession of the Apostle of the Impossible at the Shrine of St. Jude Thaddeus in Livingston on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
- Veneration of the Relic: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm
- Special Mass in honor of St. Jude: 7:00 pm

Annual Car Blessing
St. Paul Catholic Newman Center, Fresno
The St. Paul Catholic Newman Center and the Knights of Columbus invite you to their Annual Car Blessing! The blessing will take place after all Masses on July 20th and July 21st in the parking lot under the solar panels.

Holy Spirit Church, Fresno
Holy Spirit’s Vacation Bible School was a blast! Over 150 campers (K-6th grade) sang, crafted, danced, learned about our Catholic faith and had loads of fun. We are especially thankful for our teen and adult volunteers who made “Playing on God's Team” so much fun for our Holy Spirit youth. We can’t wait for next year!

St. Anthony of Padua Church, Fresno
St. Anthony of Padua Church in Fresno held their first Summer Bible Camp since the pandemic. The camp welcomed 39 youth!
Many of the campers experienced Eucharistic Adoration for the first time at the camp. What a great way to end the Year of Parish Revival.
Thank you to Deacon Edgar Briseno who was involved with the camp along with the many teen and adult volunteers. We give a special thank you to the Religious Education office, Mary Briseno, Religious Education Director, Luzvinda Martinez, Assistant and Sister Lupita who ensured a safe and spiritual uplifting experience.

Sr. Noelita Marie Rodriguez, OSF is celebrating her diamond jubilee of 70 years!
Sr. Notelita ministered in education teaching at St. John's School in Wasco from
1972 to 1977.

West Nile Virus Awareness
California Department of Public Health
To reduce the risk of being bitten by mosquitoes and contracting West Nile Virus, Fresno County residents are urged to take the following precautions:
• Apply an EPA registered insect repellent
• Make sure that doors and windows have tight-fitting screens to keep out mosquitoes and repair or replace screens that have holes.
• Eliminate standing water and containers that can hold water from around the home.
• Contact your MAD to report poorly maintained swimming pools or water features that appear green.
