Update on Bishop Brennan's Pastoral Letter: Lord, I am not Worthy
The Office of Communications announced this past month that Bishop Brennan will release his first pastoral letter on June 2nd, Corpus Christi Sunday. Due to unforeseen circumstances, our vendors need more time to work on the project.
Bishop Brennan has decided to move the publishing date to Saturday, June 29th, the feast of St. Peter and Paul.

Bishop Brennan Ordains our 6 New Priests!
Congratulations to our 6 new priests of the Diocese of Fresno. It is our biggest Ordination Class since 1968. Bishop Brennan assigned them as Parochial Vicars to the following parishes:
- Fr. Adrian Arreola to St. Anne's Church/Holy Cross, Porterville
- Fr. Emmanuel Bernal to St. Ann Church, Ridgecrest
- Fr. Hermen Cabrera to St. Philip the Apostle, Bakersfield
- Fr. Joseph Klinge to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Clovis
- Fr. Jimmy Millan to St. Joseph Church, Bakersfield
- Fr. Jose Padron to St. Anthony of Padua Church, Fresno

Mount Angel Seminary Commencement
Congratulations to our two seminarians who received their Bachelor and Master degrees recently from the Mount Angel Seminary in Oregon.
Mr. Luis Angel Meza received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Liberal Arts.
Mr. Nemesio Santana received his Master of Divinity degree from the Graduate School of Theology.

Annual Memorial Day Mass
St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, Fresno
Bishop Brennan honored those who have served our country at the Annual Outdoor Memorial Day Mass!
During Mass, Bishop Brennan and the Diocese of Fresno's Catholic Cemeteries acknowledged the veterans who served in the honor guard at the Mass by giving them a recognition medal for their military service. Our clergy members in attendance who served in the military were also recognized.
Thank you to the faithful who joined us for this Mass at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Fresno.

Fr. Juan Perez Award Recipient
Msgr. Patrick McCormick was the recipient of the Fr. Juan Perez Award at the Knights of Columbus State Convention! He was the award winner for all of Central California.
Thank you, Msgr. McCormick, for your service and contributions to council matters and spiritual programs for the Knights of Columbus Council 16185 and Holy Spirit Parish.

The Arm of St. Jude the Apostle
Bakersfield, Fresno and Madera
The Arm of St. Jude the Apostle is coming to the Diocese of Fresno! Known as the Apostle of the Impossible, Saint Jude is revered for his unwavering dedication and steadfast faith.
All are invited on the following days to attend the veneration from 2:00pm-10:00pm. A special Mass in honor of St. Jude will also begin at 7:00pm on each date.

St. Anthony Retreat Center, Three Rivers
The St. Anthony Retreat Center in Three Rivers invites you to their 6-Day Silent Directed Retreat with Fr. Stephen Coffey, OSB.Cam. from June 9-15, 2024.
This guided retreat will consider the spirituality of St. Charles de Foucauld (1858-1916), canonized in May 2022 by Pope Francis. His motto was: To Cry the Gospel By Our Life. Each day we will consider a Gospel passage that informs his spirituality which can be summarized as “letting Jesus live in us,” symbolized by the Heart and the Cross.
