Principal's Post

Dear Saints Peter and Paul Parents,

This Monday, the students in third through eighth grade will go to Confession.  The Sacrament of Reconciliation is a beautiful gift from God in which our sins are forgiven. During confession the  children enter into a holy moment in the presence of God. Through this, they strengthen their relationship with Him. God will always wait for us with patience and mercy. He offers us the second chance to start again.

The children take confession seriously and prepare ahead of time during their religion classes by examining their conscience.  It is amazing to see afterwards that they seem to  smile a little more, look a little more lighthearted, and return to class with a bit of a spring in their step.  God’s mercy and love is  awesome!

May we all grow stronger in our relationship with God and draw closer to Him through the sacrament of confession .

Have a lovely weekend!

Sincerely,

Veronica Chandler
