Due to the COVID-19 updates some polling locations for election day are being moved due to health concerns. In the 49th Ward Chalet (7350 N. Sheridan) will be moved to Loyola Park (1230 W. Greenleaf) Alden Village North (7464 N. Sheridan) will be moved to Willye B. White Park (1610 W Howard).

We are waiting to hear back from the Board of Elections to move the Mosaic of Lakeshore (7200 N. Sheridan) to Loyola Park (1230 W. Greenleaf).

We will send out an update as more information becomes available. We strongly recommend voting early or calling ahead and checking the website for updates on the locations.




If you are worried about your health and want to do a mail in ballot City of Chicago residents have until tomorrow, March 12th at 5pm to request a mail in ballot and they must be postmarked by March, 17th . City residents can request a ballot by clicking Chicago Board of Elections Ballot Request

Be aware, any mail ballot that is postmarked Wednesday, March 18th or later cannot be counted, by law. If a ballot envelope is placed in a mail drop box March 17th in the afternoon or evening, that envelope may be postmarked March 18 and will not be eligible to be counted.

If you want to deliver your ballot in person do so in an envelope at 69 W. Washington St., Sixth Floor, by 7 p.m. on March 17th; OR cancel your mail ballot and cast an Election Day ballot at the polling place assigned to your precinct on Tuesday, March 17th. If the voter has the mail ballot, that ballot should be surrendered to the election judges at your polling place. If the voter does not have the mail ballot, the voter may cast a provisional ballot after completing a provisional-ballot affidavit.

If you need to register to vote you can do so at any of the early voting locations, or on the day of election. You must make sure that you present 2 forms of ID with at least one form of ID showing your current mailing address. For a list of accepted documents click Register to Vote .
