PRESS RELEASE

The Museum of Innovation and Science (miSci) to Close Temporarily Starting December 9

Due to the recent increase in regional and national cases of COVID-19, the Museum of Innovation and Science (miSci) announced today that it will temporarily close starting Wednesday, December 9, 2020. The Museum will announce a reopening date at a future time.

The Museum’s priority is to protect the health and safety of our visitors and staff. We are closely monitoring guidance from local government, public health officials, and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. While the Museum remains closed, we will continue to offer a variety of virtual learning opportunities to our community schools and libraries with the generous support of the Jane Golub STEM Fund. For more information and to schedule a virtual program visit www.misci.org/programming

All Museum Members will have their memberships extended by the length of the temporary closure. Admission ticket purchases affected by the closure will be refunded.

Please follow miSci’s social media on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for educational content, and visit www.misci.org for updates.

The Museum remains grateful for the public’s support.
