Museum of Innovation and Science (miSci) Renews Partnership with National Museums for All Program, Renames Initiative in Honor of Neil Golub

Schenectady, NY (May 9, 2023)The Museum of Innovation and Science announced today its continued participation in the Museums for All program, a national initiative aimed at increasing accessibility to museums for low-income and underserved communities. Under this program, every student in the Schenectady City School District will receive a complimentary year-long membership to miSci. The initiative will be renamed the Neil Golub miMembership in recognition of Neil Golub's tireless dedication and deep passion for miSci.

"Access to educational and cultural opportunities should not be limited by financial means," said Gina Gould, miSci's President. "Through the Neil Golub miMembership, we are proud to offer every student in Schenectady City School District the chance to experience the wonder of science and innovation."

The Neil Golub miMembership provides free admission to the Museum for up to four family members for a full year, as well as access to special members-only events. This program represents a $1.3 million investment in STEAM educational outreach in Schenectady.

The Neil Golub miMembership program is available to more than 10,200 students in grades K-12 attending Schenectady City School District, an increase over the approximately 9,600 complimentary Memberships offered in 2022.
