CFVI Awards Grants to 22 USVI Nonprofits and Programs

with $1,030,719 Donation from Heavy Materials

U.S. Virgin Islands, March 4, 2024 — The Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands (CFVI) announced grants have been awarded to 22 USVI nonprofit organizations and programs thanks to a generous donation of $1,030,719 from Heavy Materials.

The following organizations received funding:

• Children's Museum of St. Croix
• Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands - Funding supports the Rapid Response Program, scholarships, Virtual Giving Tree, U.S. Virgin Islands Center for the Book and the Angels Giving Campaign.
• Disability Rights Center of the Virgin Islands
• Family Resource Center
• Friends of VI National Park
• Island Health and Wellness Center
• Juan F. Luis Hospital
• Love City Pan Dragons
• Lutheran Social Services
• Lutheran Social Services Queen Louise Home for the Children
• Nana Baby Home
• Schneider Regional Medical Center
• St. Croix Swimming Association
• St. John Revolving Fund
• St. Thomas Swimming Association
• The Virgin Islands Children's Museum
• TLC Foundation
• Women’s Coalition of St Croix
